Upcycling with Scarfs

This is a project I have been meaning to do for some time but have never gotten arround to it. It is very simple, all you need to do is collect vintage silk scarfs (found in almost any thrift store here in Australia) and stitch them together, either by hand of machine. Now you must make sure that you have enough scarfs to fit the intended window, but this is a project that you can put down and pick up whenever you are ready to continue!

I can imagine this is any eclectic or bohemian style home or even in an industrial style home with super large windows, the scarfs so long that they drag on the floor a little, but really, your imagination is the limit! These curtains will do whatever you want them to do. If your aim is to bring a pop of colour into the room then make sure your chosen scarfs will do just that! If the style of your room is shabby chic then why not collect some floral scarfs to build up your chosen style? The choice is yours, the possibilities are almost endless.
