Do you, your parents or their parents have an old wooden ladder hidden away in the shed? Stop hiding it and use some of these fantastic ideas to spruce up your home with a some what industrial/rustic look!
Ladders can look great on the wall, used as shelves or hangers. They can also look fab with your pot plants cascading down the rungs or maybe you have some spare planks of wood that you can place accross the rungs to form a make shift book case.
If you dont have a ladder then get hunting! You should be able to find one in salvage yards, antique stores, thrift stores or even on eBay or Gumtree. These wont be around forever as many have been left outside and the wood is deteriorating, so if you find one, hold on to it!
